Developed in 1998, this 100 percent salt-free ice melt is designed to be safe for kids, pets, and the planet. The environmentally safe formula will not harm waterways or sensitive wetlands. With its patented dual-effect compound, Safe Paw features a liquid component that melts ice instantly, while the traction agent provides slip protection, making the surface safe to walk on. Safe Paw also attracts heat, drawing the rays of the sun to stubborn ice patches to help melt them effectively.
The non-corrosive formula is safe on cured concrete. With its concentrated formula, Safe Paw is extremely powerful. Use half of what you would use with typical salt melt for a safe driveway, sidewalk, or patio. The chlorine-free formula lasts up to 72 hours on the surface, melting ice at temperatures as low as -2 degrees Fahrenheit.
This 15-pound bucket of all-natural ice crystals works differently than the typical ice and snowmelt. The all-natural crystals absorb into the liquid layer of the ice and use their spiky ends to bury themselves into the ice chest. With the granules buried into the icy surface, Traction Magic provides a stable, non-slip surface that is safe for shoes, tires, and paws to travel across.
Traction Magic works with temperatures as low as -31 degrees Fahrenheit. The 15-pound bucket is the perfect size for an emergency stash of icemelt to keep in your car or truck. With its concentrated formula, you only need to use 1/4 the amount you would usually use of salt. Traction Magic is non-toxic and can even be reused, as long as the crystals only absorb water and alcohol.
