Japan pottery--pair of yunomi tea cups

Description

I believe these yunomi tea cups are from Japan, but cannot be certain. The style of pottery appears appropriate for that origin, but the markings seem a bit odd. As you can see they have a horse on them. They also have a kanji on the other side. I looked up the kanji for horse and it is the same as what is on the cups, but reversed. The cups are signed on the bottom. I wish I knew more about these as they are beautiful and fit wonderfully in the hand.
