Datsun 620 Air Conditioner Aftermarket Under Dash A/C Unit Knee Knocker 72 73 74

Description

For sale is a used 72-79 Datsun 620 Aftermarket Under Dash A/C Unit Knee Knocker evaporator and blower motor unit. No compressor, compressor brackets, or drier. Unit is used and in unknown condition. It was sitting on a shelf of a closed parts store/ junkyard for many years. It has “73 Datsun” written on it. I put a quick cleaning on it and sprayed it with some WD40. Will probably need to be taken apart and cleaned and serviced prior to use. On the squirrel cage inside it says “General Industries, Ohio” also has “GENAIRE” on it. I don’t see any part numbers. There are some stickers here and there, but they are faded so I can’t read them.
It is a cool old school accessory to get your Datsun 210 pickup with some air conditioning! There are several sites that explain some of the details you need to know about different components needed to hook everything up.
