If you've installed a leveling kit
, you
DEFINITELY need longer control arms!
This is because as you lift the truck, the angle on the arms increases, pulling it back in the wheel well.
They definitely allow the best tire fitment as it re-centers the axle in the wheel well. These are sold in a set of 4, because you really
need uppers AND lowers
to re-center your axle properly.
Our arms are powder coated black and come with our decals for the lower arms. Again, these are brand new. They come ready to install, with pre-installed
zircon
fittings, Daystar PTMEG poly bushings, DOM sleeves, etc. Simply re-use your factory hardware.
What sets ours apart
from other competitors? We use
DOM tubing in the collars
of the arms AS WELL as the sleeve. Take a look at the sleeve pics. On the left is our Stryker sleeve. On the right is a competitors. We use heavy wall DOM tubing, with NO split seam, for our sleeves. The issue with the competitors sleeves is they are thinner wall and simply rolled over. This leaves a gap/seam. These arms take a lot of back and forth pressure. Over time, the other sleeves start to pull apart at that seam, creating a sharp edge inside the bushing, causing the bushing to shred from the inside. Our sleeves are DOM, with no seam, and a much heavier wall thickness. These are guaranteed!

Our strong 1/4" steel construction fabricated control arms are the perfect upgrade to the factory stamped steel control arms. Including heavy wall DOM sleeves, custom-designed Daystar brand PTMEG poly bushings, and pre-installed zerk fittings, these arms come completely ready to install - Just remove your factory arms and bolt these right in!
Our heavy wall DOM sleeves are application specific, and guaranteed to perfectly fit your year model truck (year models have different sizes of hardware, requiring different inner diameter sleeves for optimal fitment). Cheaper rolled sleeves with a seem can split apart, due to stress from movement (see comparison images), shredding your bushings from within!
These arms are precisely the proper length to center your front axle within the wheel well at 0" to 1.5" lift height - Each arm is jig-built, using precisely measured materials, and is inspected before being shipped. Buy with confidence!
If you've installed a 0" to 1.5" leveling kit and your front tires are close to rubbing the fenders near your doors, you need longer arms to properly re-center your axle!
