    Description

This is an amazing family photo album from Union City, PA of the Bartholme family with other families images of the Parsons, Caflish, Wilson, Kyfle, Webb, Manres, Write, Parker and others. The album starts out with notes by Adolph Bartholme (1865-1938) whose family came to Union City from Alsace, France in 1872. He then has pictures of his wife, brothers, etc. Coming from a musical family, Adolph, along with his brother Edd and other family members, started the Bartholme Orchestra, which has a rich and well documented history in the area. In fact a search for Edward Barholme will give you a detailed history of the orchestra on the 'Find a Grave' web site.
The album is 95% full of images, almost all identified. The back has some loose photos and scenic shots. This is a real treasure trove if you are a family member. I will try and reach out to those I find.
The album itself is in tatters and held together by brown duct tape. There are a few loose pages. The pictures are in great condition however. It would be easy to move these to a new album should you choose.
